Premiere of Limitless Out Of The Dusk
Pianist Yan Shen performed the world premiere of Adams’ solo work "Limitless Out of the Dusk" on the second virtual concert of the “No Time for Silence” concert series organized by the Texas New Music Ensemble. The title of the piece quotes a line from Walt Whitman’s epic poem “When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom’d”. Whitman wrote the lengthy poem in the summer of 1865 as a eulogy to Abraham Lincoln.
