Premiere of Limitless Out Of The Dusk

Pianist Yan Shen performed the world premiere of  Adams’ solo work "Limitless Out of the Dusk" on the second virtual concert of the “No Time for Silence” concert series organized by the Texas New Music Ensemble. The title of the piece quotes a line from Walt Whitman’s epic poem “When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom’d”. Whitman wrote the lengthy poem in the summer of 1865 as a eulogy to Abraham Lincoln. Dr. Brian Perez, Director of Jazz Studies at Texas Southern University, performs the world premiere of Daniel Adams' Eulerian Circles, a work Adams composed for Dr. Perez.  The performance is part of the 41st annual International Saxophone Symposium on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
